MUSICIAN BIOS

Ray Reynolds & the Country Time Band

Friday & Saturday
February 3rd & 4th
9:00 pm–1:30 am
Country Time is a vision that started before I even knew it was there. From the time I was a little boy watching my daddy play guitar. I was set in the path of music for life. All I ever had passion for at that point was some day playing music full time and singing all the songs that I love dearly.
All members have a very long history of music. As for myself, country music has always been a part of my life. My father, Raymond A Reynolds Sr, was a guitar player and singer whom performed all over the valley and foothills. He taught me how to play guitar, sing, and write music well.
To this day, I too, have performed all around the valley and foothills for the last 24 years. I love country music and blues with some old time rock (my father’s favorite style to play). I’m inspired by artists such as Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, as well as many other great country music artists.

The J. Silverheels Band (JSB) has been entertaining the Napa Valley and Bay Area for years, playing 50s, 60s, and 70s Classic Rock-n- Roll and Oldies, mixed with some good Blues Rock, Motown, R&B, and even popular Country songs. Based out of Napa Valley CA, the JSB plays only top hits such as ‘Sweet Home Alabama’, ‘Mustang Sally’, ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Wooly Bully’, ‘Louie Louie’, ‘If the House is-a-Rockin’, ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’, and on and on. “Only the good stuff,” says Joe Geremia, band leader and founder. “We also have a great variety of popular slow songs we throw in such as needed, such as ‘We Belong Together’, ‘Stand By Me’, ‘Unchained Melody’, ‘Margaritaville’, and ‘Wonderful Tonight’ just to name a few.” Known as Napa Valley’s Ultimate Party Band, the J. Silverheels Band have expanded into the Solano, Sonoma, and Alameda counties. They keep the party going, song after song, hit after hit. Long sets, short breaks, and lots of songs. That’s the deal. The Funky Dozen blends fun and funk to keep people on the dance floor all night long. Led by Larry Thompson, the band focuses primarily on favorites from the 1970s, but also pulls the best from the 80s and 90s, to provide high energy music people want to move to. As the name suggests, the band features twelve talented musicians, but not always the same twelve. Part of the band’s strength is their fluid mixture of core members and new musicians who bring great infusions of style and experience, helping the band stay true to its roots while it continues to grow and evolve. Twelve members blend to create a powerful sound, melding classic guitar and percussion with a brass section to blow the roof off, topped off with male and female vocalists who use their voices as instruments in their own right.
