Maybe you are looking for a new outfit for the live music in Napa you are seeing that evening or possibly you just wanted to find a good deal on some antiques. Whatever the case, if you happen to be staying at Twin Pine Casino & Hotel, there are a few thrift shops in the area that may be of assistance. First stop:

Vintage clothes for sale inside a shop

The Middletown Methodist Thrift Shop!

“You never know what you’re going to find,” Said Glenn Gulbransen, a frequent customer at the Methodist thrift store. You can find them in a quaint little place right near Middletown restaurants, behind the United Methodist Church, and next to the Senior Center. Be sure to visit when they’re open because their schedule is slightly limited:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Saturday – 11:30am – 2:30pm

Second thrift stop:

Sugar Daddy’s Consignment!

One yelper gave this unique shop a 5 star review saying:

“I was in the area and wandered into this little gem..I found the perfect dress at the thrift store! Sugar Daddy’s is the best thrift tore I have ever visited with a nice assortment of clothing and accessories. I didn’t have time to scope out all the jewelry so I can’t wait to return and check it out!”

If you happen to be staying at Middletown hotels, this is located in Calistoga, CA and not too far away. But as one person said on Yelp, “Sugar Daddy’s worth it.” Their schedule is more convenient opening at 10:00am and closing at 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Saturday they are closed and Sunday they are also open at 10:00am but close at 4:00pm.

Final bargain or bust:

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store!

Only a 20-minute drive from our Twin Pine Casino & Hotel, you can find yourself among like-new furniture, clothing, and household goods all at an affordable price. This thrift shop generously donates 100 percent of their profits towards programs that support families in need in Sonoma County.

Monday and Tuesday’s are senior discount days making the whole store 40 percent off to people 60 years and older. Also Wednesdays are College Student Discount Day where the whole store is 40 percent off to those who attend Sonoma State University and Santa Rose Junior College.

After a big day out thrift shopping, heading back to your hotel room to relax is a great way to prepare for your evening.  And next time you are back in the area, you will know where to head first for your thrifting agenda!
